  CLAM MEETING Dumbing down

  so yesterday was the midweek meeting - the first of the month for december so instead of locals doing the little talk skits we get the on screen shadow puppets.. after each one the ms taking the item asks the congregation for "positive" comments.. part way through i get a text from a pimo brother enduring the show which reads thus (and i quote word for word ...).

  Ministry Ideaz - Online JW shop

  ministry ideaz is an online shop that sells products aimed at the jw market.

  apparently the owner is a guy called greg holland.bridget azaz (youtube account) has posted a mirror of a video which attempts to disclose the relationship between this business and the watchtower society.

  it shows a photo of greg holland standing in the watchtower broadcasting studio and a claim that he was one of a very small number of people specially invited to a four day opening of warwick.it also shows a photo of gb losch, his wife and her family with claims that they were brought to equidor on holiday by greg holland.another claim is that greg admits that there is a contract between his business and the watchtower.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqfwsj6m0muthey announced the opening of their first physical store in july, 2017. visit us at our new location in pine bush, ny.

  Bottom line - the WTBTS is first and foremost a business, and as such, will capitalise on its registered trade name - i.e. JWdotBORG - as discreetly as it can. (see what I did there?)

  I'd never seen the org promote any company's product to the sheeple - until the creation of JWBroadcasting. Then the powers-that-be urged its followers to buy ROKU boxes in order to access the wonderful new spiritual -streams. (other streaming devices costing half the price were available via the internet)

  I'll bet the org creamed off a few dollars for their endorsement.

  Can someone tell me why Joan's ark and the flood not true and impossible?

  i have a question and i hope i'm not confusing this with something else i heard.

  while watching ex jw videos on youtube many of them talk about how noah's ark and the flood didn't happen and it's impossible.

  Monthly Broadcast for December 2017 is 'replaced by....' - plus more....

  looks like the wt are even reducing the video content nowadays...... no jw tv monthly broadcast for december 2017 - instead it is replaced with the 'gilead graduation part 1' programme.

  issues with translation - apparently replacing the monthly broadcast with the hour long 'spiritual' part of the graduation means that the wt are able to translate it into more languages than before.. plus more.....

  Kingdom Hall services.........."Jehovah's Witness meetings would take place on Wednesdays and Sundays with 30 to 40 participants..."

  the jw lawyer clearly stated that disfellowshipping only applies to spiritual association, but everyday family contact is ok..

  Difficulty fading out

  this is my first post on here so i apologize that it is like an essay!.

  my husband and i are currently 'fading out' of the truth.

  we stopped preaching in may 2016 and limited meeting attendance in january 2017 and stopped completely in june 2017. my main reason for this was my whole life i have been doing things to please others, even getting baptized to please my mum.

  So my PIMO Younger Brother Tried To Kill Himself Today

  we all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.

  he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.

  he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.

  My heart goes out to you both. Tragic circumstances for both you and your brother. You will be strong enough to withstand this, as well as to help carry your brother through it as well. You'll do whatever you are able to do - because you can see what is really going on, as opposed to those who are functioning on "cult automatic pilot."

  I truly hope your brother's situation improve rapidly.

  far more important than worrying about whether paul's head was hairy or if he was an egg-shell blond, is to be concerned about what went on inside that skull between his ears.. paul was never a christian.

  he was a jew before he became aware of jesus the anointed (christ) and he remained a jew after his confrontation.

  throughout his life paul was a jew living in a gentile world.

  @waton - Isn't it nice to know that Paul as a "publisher" could tell one of the alleged 1st century governing body that he was acting like a hypocrite! :) (I don't remember Paul being disfellowshipped for doing so)
